Steamship Historical Society of America Ship of the Year Award

Each year the Steamship Historical Society of America bestows the prestigious "Ship of the Year" Award to pay tribute to the individuals and vessels that inspire and represent the very best the maritime world has to offer.

Each year, the Society receives myriad nominations for this internationally recognized, prestigious award. Many factors are used to determine the winner, including the significance of the vessel, its status and the impact the vessel had during its service.
